I'm afraid there's no confirmation of a 4th season, nothing on their weibo account and nothing on their website.
I dont see any upcoming projects either, but that is normal, most of the studios often dont announce any upcoming projects, sometimes they release a trailer but that is about it, but bear in mind the studio is based in Shanghai so it might also be affected with the on and off lockdown

Having said that, I am sure there will be another season, just have to wait

Wow great finish. I feel like the beginning of the series was the best but lost steam in the mid/latter parts.

I Eat Tomatoes's novels (Swallowed Star, Stellar Transformation) tends to be like that, starts great then slows down a little then it will pick up, but it depends on the studio to see if they can adapt it well :)

Wow… this season pissed me off so much. I wonder if it’s only because of the donghua because when I read the novel, I was never this pissed off. I remember Xue Ying being a lot more rational, not impulsive and overconfident. This shouldn’t be news, but Xue Ying does grow in character after enduring indescribable pain for years. Xue Ying is supposed to be IET’s favorite character out of all his novels, so I hope they will be able to prove why in the next season.

Yeah the donghua production quality really fell off a cliff after about the middle imo, esp the action sequences--I lost count the number of times he swung his spear at the ground and promised said baddie they'd "pay" LOL. Worse, both the story and the MCs advancement seemed to stagnate. Maybe they should have just focused on the romance because the end was better than most of the action 🤣.
